Federschwert Hairpin

This hairpin has been inspired by Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and based on a shape of Federschwert, a type of training sword using in the fencing school of the German Renaissance.

Length: 28 cm / 11 in
Width: 5,5 cm / 2,1 in
Heigth: 0,7-0,8 cm / 0,2-0,3 in
Weigth: around 60-90 gram / 0,13-0,19 lb

— Materials:
Carved from light and sturdy type of natural wood (Black hornbeam), painted with liquid silver potal and decorated with black cotton thread.

All of the pieces are handcrafted by me. Please note: every single piece is handcrafted and might be slightly differ than the image.
