"Sub rosa dictum," the ancient Romans said when fixing the flower of rose above the table as a sign that everything said under the rose during the feast should be kept as a secret. The ancient Greeks considered this flower a symbol of Harpocrates, the god of silence. Medieval craftsmen depicted a rose on the ceilings of rooms where secret negotiations were held. The Rosicrucians used it as one of the symbols of their secret society.

Now we can trust the silence of this flower by wearing a chainmail rose like an ancient symbol of a secret.
